Rau & Herzlich in Kreuzberg

Coming from Argentina I believe it's honest to say that I'm quite spoiled when it comes to meat. The quality is very hard to beat. Thus, it usually comes natural for me to be exigent when eating meat-related dishes.

Berlin is a city where it seems to be quite hard to find great meat at good prices, or even to find great meat at all (at least for me). Rau & Herzlich is a magnificent example of an anomaly. This nice sucucho sits in a corner just 2 blocks south of Görlitzer Park in one of Kreuzberg's most beautiful walkable areas, a block away from Landwehrkanal (remember Lager Lager? It's just a 7 minute walk away, perfect for some fresh pints right after this visit).

I went to have dinner with my family and the result was absolute satisfaction. The selection of dishes was amply, the staff took good care of us, the ambience was on point, with some soothing music in the background which makes it better, and my God, the taste of the meat was breathtaking. The meat was so tender that it could be easily cut with a spoon and all the exquisite juices made me smile while savoring.

If you are a hearty meat lover and expect the best, which does not have to equate with the most expensive, stop by Rau & Herzlich and give yourself a fine treat.
