Bergmannkiez is a magnificently charming and peaceful neighborhood which has an aura of elegance that immediately appeals. Rekorder Galerie und Café, which sits right next to a small park two blocks away from the main street Bergmanstraße, is a blend between a Parisian café with a decisively modern, welcoming touch and a boutique and intimate art gallery.

I've tried their wines, cheese platters (absolute special mention to these), sandwiches and cafés, and they have all been splendid. Every product is of top quality and they are brought to you by a smiling, young French couple.

Head over there on a sunny day and you can enjoy sitting on the sidewalk, with the trees in front and the untouched, colorful pre-war buildings, which are a true gems. If too cold or dark, rest assured that you'll feel nothing short of cozy inside.
